RECTILINEAR
Rectilinear is built out of poplar wood and glued and clamped together in an overlapping pattern.
When arranging Rectilinear, the individual piece goes from having a square shape when standing alone to transforming into rectangular shapes when arranged into patterns.  The open space allows the pieces to be able to slide into each other, as well as interlock to create many different linear patterns.  The contrasting colors help to create visual interest between the pieces and allow the form to stand out when arranged in alternating patterns.
